We are here to support those that want to change their lives."
"My name is Monika Vega. I have a Bachelors degree from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Masters degree from Webster University. I have been a board member when A Recovery Place was a dream on paper! I’ve had the honor of working with wonderful, dedicated volunteers who have made the dream a reality."
Melissa Forsythe, Board Secretary, Volunteer Coordinator, Treasurer
"My name is Melissa Forsythe, also a Veteran of the United States Army.
In 2018 I was able to achieve my goal of obtaining my Bachelors in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University San Antonio.
I have been a part of A Recovery Place, Inc; in some fashion since 2007. Currently I serve as the Secretary and the Volunteer Coordinator.
I recently decided to make the commitment to help make sure the doors remained open to continue helping others."
